Joubert Plywood panels solution for Boat building
Marine Ply is adapted to the humid conditions in which it is used. Designed for building and fitting out ships and boats, it has specific properties adapted to the stresses in different areas of a vessel, such as the hull, walls, roof, etc. It can be used in structures in combination with glass fibre or epoxy resin. Used to fit out cabin interiors, it offers a number of finish options and a consistently elegant and warm appearance.
British standard BS 1088: 2018 describes the requirements of marine quality ply. Our Marine Ply also has Lloyd’s Register Type Approval. The sustainability of the species (Okoume, Sapele), the density, humidity-resistance (class 3 bonding) and thickness of the plies are the first indicators.
Our Marine Ply has Lloyd’s Register Type Approval and is compliant with BS 1088:2018. It is suitable for the building of ships and boats and other high-quality building applications.
